Details of the upcoming season of "Parenthood" are slowly rolling in as fans eagerly wait for any details regarding their favorite characters. Viewers were excited to find out that Ray Romano's character Hank would be returning for 12 to 15 episodes arc. But while most news has surround Sarah's (Lauren Graham) love life (or disaster), new tidbits focus on the other Braverman sister Julia (Erika Christensen).
TVLine reported that things may not be all that peachy keen over at the Braverman-Graham household. According to TVLine's Michael Ausiello, "A third party is going to create some tension in Julia and Joel's marriage, and-shocker!-it's not one of their irrepressible demon spawn!"
"When the action picks up (after a somewhat sizeable time jump), Joel is in the midst of working on a two-year project with a fireball of an architect named Meredith (new recurring character alert!)," Ausiello added. "Everything's copasetic until Mer joins Joel and Julia for dinner and inadvertently makes former legal eagle feeling crappy about being a stay-at-home mom. What's more, Julia starts to view her hubby's new work wife as a threat."
Joel (Sam Jaeger) and Julia have had a pretty strong relationship, but will Meredith prove too much for their marriage?
Meanwhile, TVLine teases, "Sarah is going to pull an Amanda Woodward and become the manager of an apartment building, and Matt Lauria's back as Ryan-at least in the Sept. 26 premiere-when Amber visits him at an Army base." Last we saw of Ryan and Amber (Mae Whitman) appeared to be shopping for an engagement ring. Will there be wedding bells for the couple or will they put their relationship on hold for Ryan's Army career?
"Parenthood" will return to NBC on Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST this fall.
