Wisin And Yandel will take on coaching duties in the third season of the popular singing competition "La Voz México" which is produced by Televisa and that will begin broadcasting in September. This will be the first time the program will have a double chair for the coaches who will be working together.
"The first confirmed coaches are @wisinyyandel #loslideresenlavoz!!" The producer of the program, Miguel Angel Fox, tweeted during the weekend. Televisa announced that starting today, it will release the names of the rest of the coaches on different television shows and through the show's official Twitter account. Thalia, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Fernandez, Juanes and Chayanne are some of the names that are rumoured to sit next to the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo as the new coaches in the upcoming season.
It has also been rumored that the actor Jaime Camil would host the competition, but the show's production team has yet to say if it will be him or if Jacqueline Bracamontes will return this season.
"La Voz México" is a reality show and talent show based on the format of "The Voice," which originated in the Netherlands and is a part of the international franchise "The Voice," created by Dutch producer John de Mol.
Since its premiere, the show has had very postive ratings and has outperformed rival shows from other channels. One of the more unfortunate moments for the program came with the death of Jenni Rivera on December 9, 2012, while she was an active host in the second season.
