The July 17 release date will apparently coincide with the debut of the Sony Xperia Z and a "T-Mobile 768."
The report added that the Lumia 925 will be priced at $99.99 when signing a two-year contract with T-Mobile. The total release price, per TMO News, is $579 with the option to pay 24 monthly payments of $20.
The July 17 release date will be roughly more than two months after its May 14 debut at a London Lumia event. The Lumia 925 has already made its mark in China, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time under a 3G network.
"We keep innovating," said Nokia Smart Devices Executive Vice President Jo Harlow. "We're advancing experiences on the Nokia Lumia portfolio whether that means great new benefits for an existing Lumia owner, or bringing new showcase devices like the Nokia Lumia 925."
