Summer is an untamed beast. The sweltering weather and relentless sun make the long days drag on. Sure, at first, it comes as a blessing. It warms our bones and allows us to shake away the winter cobwebs. But as we enter the thick of it, we realize how a cool breeze and a light dusting of frost on the morning grass helps to lift us through our days. What the summer lacks most is winter television. Although it caters to several strong, entertaining series, the big guns remain dormant. The winter hosts the best television. It's a time to bundle up on your couch next to a raging fire. What could be better? Fortunately, during these long months without your favorite television shows to help you get through the work week, there are plenty of behind-the-scene details that help to scratch the itch.
For fans of "American Horror Story," character details from the third season are beginning to trickle down from the early stages of production. Lily Rabe recently revealed that her new alter ego is "nothing like Nora or Mary Eunice from the first two season" and that she'll be working with Kathy Bates, according to TVLine. "I'm a big fan of hers," she said. "I can't wait." In addition, she also informed fans that no, "she's not a nun."
Another "American Horror Story" favorite, Taissa Farmiga recently opened up about her return to the show for its third season. "I'm just looking forward to working with the cast again. I haven't seen them in like a year and a half," she said. She added that although she has yet to see an official script for "Coven," she promised fans that it's "going to be pretty awesome." She may not have seen the scripts, but her excitement and enthusiasm are encouraging.
"American Horror Story" will return to FX in the fall.
