A new Pokémon trailer was released featuring Mewtwo's new form.
Ahead of the "Pokémon X and Y" launch in October, a film featuring the Genetic Pokémon will debut in Japan on July 13, however, a prologue for the movie will air days before its release.

As Latinos Post previously reported, the next Pokémon anime film is titled "Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens" (not the official English translation) and features Mewtwo reuniting with Ash and friends as a group of Genesect cause trouble around a city.
In what may explain how or why Mewtwo is able to transform to a new form after five generations since its debut, an anime special will air on July 11 on TV Tokyo - the official broadcaster of Pokémon in Japan.
A trailer for the special does not explain much but it does feature Virgil, champion of the Vertress Conference of Unova's Pokémon League in the anime series.
A U.S. release date has not been disclosed, but a wild estimate would be for late 2013 on Cartoon Network.
The new form of Mewtwo is confirmed to make its video game debut in "Pokémon X and Y," exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS. The game has slowly announced new Pokémon for the franchise's sixth generation. The new game will also introduce a new type for the first time in more than a decade with the Fairy type.
"Pokémon X and Y" will be released in October across Australia, Europe, Japan and North America.
