With just a few days left before the season premiere of Showtime's hit criminal drama "Dexter," fans are clamoring for any bit of information they can get of the final season. Showtime has been teasing fans with sneak peaks, photos and promos for the upcoming season, but of course that's never enough.
However, a recent promo for the season premiere might just give fans enough to take them through to Sunday's episode. The short clip shows Dexter (Michael C. Hall) navigating life just six months after killing LaGuerta (Lauren Vélez) and becoming estranged from his sister Debra (Jennifer Carpenter). Be sure to catch it below.
If that's not enough, TVLine has also revealed some tidbits on the show's final season. Fans of Dexter's partner Vince Masuka (C.S. Lee) will see a whole new side to him in the eighth season, TVLine reports. Lee himself teases, "He gets visited by his past. It's a very interesting premise." Interesting indeed.
But that's not all. TVLine also spoke to Yvonne Strahovski, who will be reprising her role as Hannah McKay, who Deb and Dexter managed to put in jail. "Basically, I'm allowed to tease nothing," Strahovski said before continuing, "But the question is, hwo and in what fashion does Hannah come back? And what method does she use to reintroduce herself into Dexter's crazy life? And what motivates her? Is it going to be love or revenge?"
Sure those are important questions, but what about the answers? Fans will just have to wait for the final season to begin next Sunday to find out.
"Dexter" season eight premieres on Sunday, June 30 at 9 p.m. EST on SHOWTIME.
