Gearbox Software has released the fourth set of DLC for Borderlands 2 season pass owners, entitled Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. The DLC may be the final set of DLC for the game entirely, but fans can take comfort knowing developer Gearbox has released one of the best DLC add-ons in the franchise's history.
The plot of this DLC is that Tiny Tina, the twelve-year-old demolitions expert from the game, has roped in the main characters of the game into playing Bunkers & Badasses, the Pandora version of Dungeons & Dragons. Along the way, trademark Borderlands humor is thrown into the mix, along with some gripping emotional scenes as Tiny Tina uses the game to work through the grieving process for a character who died over the course of the main game. Players should expect the jokes and references to nerd culture to pile high over the course of the DLC.
The DLC is free to all season pass users, and, as usual, players will have to download a compatibility patch before being able to download the actual DLC. All in all, players will have to download 2GB of data for this DLC, so anybody wishing to play it may want to start the download process and then grab a book.
Gearbox has put together an excellent package of DLC for season pass owners, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is the best of the bunch. As seen in previews of the DLC, this add-on bends and twists the rules of Borderlands 2 quite frequently, and because it takes place all in the mind of Tiny Tina, gamers can expect craziness around every corner of the game.
The DLC is free to all season pass owners, or $9.99 for those without the pass. Look out for the DLC available now on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
