After several receiving harsh criticism over his long hairdo in "La Tempestad," William Levy has asked his fans for advice on his upcoming makeover in the series.

Levy utilized Twitter  to ask fans for suggestions on his new look. He tweeted, "What Look would you like in 'La Tempestad?'  Your Opinion matters." Producer Salvador Mejia also tweeted, "Would you like to see Capitan Fabre change his look?"

Various fans commented on his tweet with multiple stating that character would not be the same If he did not have the extensions. Others stated that Levy looked great anyway.

Twitter account holder @Christy3angels stated, "Each way he looks beautiful!" while @AvitalGanon tweeted "The Long Hair is #CapitanFabre the Wild Man!!!! Love it ❤."

@Marisela09 stated that she could not see Levy's character Capitan Fabre any other way. She stated "I hope the same, :-) I can't even imagine him with short hairs."

Meanwhile @pilarIVIV responded to Mejia and said that the audience already fell in love with the character and his hair and therefore production should leave his look alone.

Levy later thanked his fans and stated, "Thank you for all your messages. Please continue sending you opinions. My work is for you, the fans."

When Levy's hairdo was revealed in March, fans went to the social networks and criticized him. Followers stated that they did not like him anymore because of his haircut and that he looked better with short hair. They added that he should cut his hair because he looked "horrible."

"La Tempestad" is currently screening in Mexico where it has received mixed reception and low ratings. The series also stars Ximena Navarrete, Ivan Sanchez  Laura Carmine, Jessica Coch Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, and Luis Manuel Avila. The telenovela will air in the US and a number of other territories in July.
