A new Nokia device has passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The Nokia device was given the name "RM-877" and complied with the requirements needed in the FCC test.
According to the FCC documentation, the period of the test started on Feb. 28 this year and culminated on May 6. The Nokia device also included a headset test, camera test, and an optional wireless charging back cover.

As Engadget noted, the device is compatible with LTE bands 2, 3, 4, and 17, which are the same utilized by carrier AT&T - the exclusive carrier of devices such as the Nokia Lumia 920.
Further, the tested Nokia device features pentaband HSPA+/WCDMA and quad-band GSM/EDGE. The FCC document also noted the wireless connectivity that would be available, including NFC, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
As Latinos Post reported, Nokia is scheduled to host an event on July 11 from New York City. The specifics for the event were not disclosed but an invitation featured the tagline "Zoom Reinvented," perhaps a reference to an improved camera specification or device. The event could see the launch of the Nokia EOS smartphone, which is reported to have a whopping 41-megapixel PureView camera while running on the current Microsoft platform.
