The show kicks off with newly-crowned WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio coming out to celebrate his victory over Dolph Ziggler at the "Payback" pay-per-view (PPV) before he is interrupted by CM Punk, annoyed that Del Rio called himself "the best," and challenged him to a match on Raw. Heyman interrupts, complaining that the match isn't even a title match and Punk should be compensated for being "best in the world". Vickie eventually comes out and declares a CM Punk-Del Rio main event.
Match #1: Wade Barrett vs. Christian
Barrett was originally scheduled to get a rematch for the Intercontinental title he lost in the Triple Threat title match at "Payback", but Vickie Guerrero comes out and surprises Barrett by naming Christian his new opponent. Christian makes quick work of Barrett, who took a "Killswitch" after charging into the steel post, for the quick pin.
Winner: Christian
Match #2: Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Sheamus (Handicap match)
Sheamus' strength and power were not enough to overcome the numbers game against Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Sandow sneaked up on Sheamus and rolled him up for the pin, while he was distracted by Rhodes. Rhodes ate a Brogue Kick for his troubles after Sandow left the ring and ran for the hills.
Winner: Team Rhodes Scholars
Triple H talks with Guerrero about The Shield running wild on the show. He warns her that she needs to make an example of them if they interfere in any way tonight and doesn't care how swift an example.
Match #3: Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan (Viewers Choice - No Disqualification)
Orton took full advantage of the the lack of rules, using a Singapore cane to seize control. Bryan fought back but missed badly on a suicide dive that forced the referees to stop the match.
Winner: Randy Orton via official stoppage
AJ Lee comes out to crow about her tap-out victory over Kaitlyn that won her the WWE Divas title. Lee brags about how she broke Kaitlyn's body and spirit before she's interrupted by Stephanie McMahon, who berates her for not being a quality and classy champion. Kaitlyn makes her way to ring and charges at AJ, who is dragged way by Big E. Langston.
Match #4: United States Title Match - Dean Ambrose (champion) vs. Kane
Kane controlled the match from the start but was immediately attacked by Ambrose's cohorts from The Shield who proceeded to Triple Power-Bomb the Big Red Machine.
Winner: Kane via disqualification
Backstage, Vince McMahon congratulates The Shield, despite Triple H's edict, telling them they remind him of him.
Match #5: Antonio Cesaro vs. William Regal
Zeb Colter tells the crowd that he and Jack Swagger have found the perfect man to work alongside who represents the virtue of America, knows five languages and one of the if them is English - Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro manages to cinch a sleeper hold on Regal and converts it into a "Neutralizer" for the win.
Winner: Cesaro
John Cena comes out to warn the winner of the "Money In The Bank" match that he'll be ready for whoever challenges him. Mark Henry comes out and asks Cena to stay in the ring. Henry thanks friends, family, and colleagues for support his career but he feels it's time to retire. Cena comes in, standing proud with the now-retired Henry before the world's strongest man picks him up and power-slams the champion, leaving him laid out in the middle of the ring.
Match #6: Chris Jericho vs. Heath Slater of 3MB
Jericho hit Slater with a bulldog, a Lionsault, and Codebreaker to quickly dispatch of Slater. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal also ate Codebreakers for attempting to attack him.
Winner: Chris Jericho
Match #7: Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs. Sin Cara (non-title)
Sin Cara attempted a Senton late in the match only to have the champion counter by putting his knees up prior to hitting the masked Mexican with a "Picture Perfect DDT" for the pin.
Winner: Curtis Axel
Match #8: WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk (non-title)
Del Rio worked over Punk's arm throughout most of the match before Punk hit the champion with the GTS. Ricardo Rodriguez managed to drag Del Rio out the ring, who fled and took a count out than face the Straight Edge Superstar. Del Rio then got attacked by Dolph Ziggler, who was not even supposed to be in the arena due to his concussion injury. Punk was left to celebrate his victory before Brock Lesnar's music hits and the Next Big Thing makes his way to the ring. He then plants Punk into the mat with an F5 to end the show.
Winner: CM Punk via count-out
