A new leak suggests that the next batch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC will be entitled Vengeance and we feature the usual mix of multiplayer maps with new zombie mode content thrown in as well.
This news comes from a picture taken of unreleased promotional material, which was then uploaded onto Call of Duty Online. The poster reveals the name of the supposed DLC, along with showing four brand new multiplayer maps, a new zombie mode map, and a new weapon. The new maps are called Cove, Uplink, Rush, and Detour, and the zombie mode map is entitled Buried. The new weapon appears to be an exclusive to zombie mode, as it is the Ray Gun Mark II.
It is hard to make out exactly what the new maps will look like from the poster, with the exception of Cove. That map, of course, take place in a tropical cove setting. Uplink sounds like it would most likely take place in a satellite installation, which Rush and Detour sounds like they could take place in traffic or perhaps a traffic jam caused by construction. Buried looks to have an Indiana Jones/ Uncharted vibe, with a lush green background highlighting an undead adventurer.
Neither Activation nor Infinity Ward have confirmed this new leak as being accurate, however this is not the first time leaked promotional material has revealed what will be coming to Black Ops 2 as DLC. The last set of DLC, Uprising, was leaked through unreleased promotional material, so this could very well be the next Black Ops 2 DLC. Uprising featured the popular Mob of the Dead mode, so it will be interesting to see if Buried is as highly touted as the previous zombie mode DLC. Look out for news about the Vengeance DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in the near future.
