With the conclusion of E3, we now have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the future of the console wars, with Sony and Microsoft showing off their next-gen consoles and the blockbuster games that will be available for the systems. We look at the top 5 blockbuster titles that were shown at E3.
5. Titanfall- This Xbox One and PC game wowed people at the Microsoft press conference, and the promise of an epic, fast-paced mutliplayer mode has sparked huge interest int he game. Plus, it is hard to go wrong with duels between mechs while players flee like mice.
4. Wii U Super Smash Bros.- Though this game is on the struggling Wii U, it still deserves mention among the other big games shown at E3. After all, new Super Smash Bros games are always a cause for celebration, and rank in the top rated games of their respective generations. The Wii U Smash Bros will continue that legacy, even with characters like the Wii Fit Trainer added to the roster.
3. Call of Duty: Ghosts- We got to see how the single player campaign will play, including an extended look at how Riley the dog will fit into the game. It appears as if Activision and Infinity Ward's gamble on focusing on tighter, stealthier gameplay and a new setting will pay off when the game is released.
2. Battlefield 4- This tops the rival Call of Duty game at E3 for one simple reason: EA and DICE showed off the game's multiplayer, and it looks stunning to say the least. Until we see Ghosts multiplayer to see how it compares, Battlefield 4 is looking to be the better game at this point.
1. Destiny- Destiny's gameplay was shown at E3, and everything about the game looks fantastic. Bungie has promised an experience unlike anything we had experienced before, and they are one of the few developers capable of delivering on this promise. Destiny will set the bar for what the next-gen consoles can be capable of.
