Many different companies are offering preorders for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and many gamers have been scrambling trying to secure their very own next-gen consoles before they run out. However, those offers only apply to those in the United States, and not anywhere else. So where can those who live in the UK find themselves a Xbox One or a PlayStation 4?

Amazon.com offers preorders for both systems to select countries outside the United States, including the United Kingdom. However, both consoles are no longer available for preorder, as all the slots for the systems have already been filled. However, Game.com is offering preorders for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Free shipping is offered, and a deposit of 20 pounds required. Zavvi is also offering both consoles for preorder, and offers free delivery as well  No deposit is required on Zavvi, so gamers in the UK could reserve their console for free, and then if they change their mind they will not lose money.

Of course, many local video game distributors will also be accepting preorders for the systems as well, as the consoles now have a firm price point so retailers know how much they are suppose to charge for the next-gen consoles. It will be interesting to see how both consoles do on the international market, especially the Xbox One. The Xbox One carries a hefty £429 price tag, the equivalent of around 670 US dollars, before tax. The PlayStation 4 will cost £349, or roughly $550 her in the states. The price gap between the consoles is even greater in the UK than it is in the US, and could help the  PlayStation 4 get an edge over the competition in the international market. Look out for any new details about the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as we et closer to their release.
