The Liars are back, and to no one's surprise, everything in Rosewood is still on the brink of disaster. As the season begins, fans watch Aria (Lucy Hale) as she tries to cover her tracks in the wake of her relationship with Ezra (Ian Harding). The assistant principal eventually uncovers the truth and confronts Aria with a collection of photos featuring her and Ezra during a rather incriminating hook up. The assistant principal tells Aria that her parents are on their way down to the school and that Ezra will be arrested for sleeping with a student.
Alas, it's only a daydream, but it leads Aria to reconsider her relationship with Ezra as she tells him that she'd like to start seeing other people. It's unclear whether or not Aria will stand by her decision, but fans will watch her give it a shot during next week's episode.
In a short promo video for episode 2, titled "Turn of the Shoe," Aria joins a martial arts class with new potential crush, Jake (Ryan Guzman). As Jake pulls Aria close to practice her form, he senses her discomfort and asks her, "Aria, this relationship doesn't work unless there is a level of trust between us. Do you trust me?" How's that for setting the tone for a new romance? Watch the promo video below.
Here's the official synopsis for next week's episode, "Turn of the Shoe," which airs Tuesday, June 18 at 8p.m. ET/PT.

Tired of feeling defenseless against "A," Aria decides to learn self defense and is intrigued by her sexy instructor. Meanwhile, Toby shares a heartbreaking secret with Spencer, and Hanna makes an alarming discovery regarding her mom. And to complicate matters even further, "A" nearly kills the newest PLL.
