Jacen and Jaina Solo will likely appear in the new "Star Wars Episode 7."
According to the blog Schmoes Know, a cast list was revealed by an anonymous source that was sending the breakdown to director J.J Abrams. According to the breakdown the film tells the story of two 17 year old twins, a girl and a boy, who are trained by their uncle Luke to be the greatest Jedis in the galaxy. Problems arise when the male twin turns to the dark side.
The two main characters could be Jacen and Jaina Solo, the offspring of Hans Solo and Princess Leia. Jaina's character is described as "Female, 17 years old, lead. - Jacen's twin sister, one of the greatest Jedis in the galaxy, trained by her uncle Luke Skywalker." Meanwhile Jacen is described as "Male, 17 years old, lead - Jaina's twin brother, one of the greatest Jedis in the world. A loner who is constantly struggling with the idea of what's right and what's wrong. Starts to turn to the dark side. Full of conviction that what he is doing is the 'right thing.' Will eventually become Darth Caedus."
If the source is valid then Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Hans Solo will most likely make appearances in the new film in their roles from the from the original trilogy.
This is the first time plot rumors have surfaced on the internet as production is being kept under wraps.
"Star Wars Episode 7" is currently in pre-production with Abrams directing the film, Kathleen Kennedy producing and Michael Arndt writing the script.
Abrams' frequent editing team of Maryann Brandon and Mary Jo Markey are already confirmed for the space opera while Darren Gilford is confirmed to be production designer. Costume designer Michael Kaplan will create the wardrobe.
The film is slated to begin production in January 2014 and will be released in 2015.
