It may not be riding season in Charming, but that doesn't stop fans from keeping up with their favorite SAMCRO members. Now, a recent set photo from season 6 of "Sons of Anarchy" features possibly its most adorned member, Jax, as he casually takes to his bike. But that's not all. A small collection of set photos has made its way from production, which began only a couple weeks ago. They don't show much, but it's still exciting to see gang back and riding. Check out the photos here.
In other "Sons of Anarchy" news, producer Kurt Sutter has announced that the SAMCRO saga may carry on once the series comes to an end, most likely after its seventh season. Speaking at a recent "Hit the Ground Showrunning" panel, Sutter talked about his longtime aspiration to create a "Sons of Anarchy" prequel series or feature film.
"Right now, it is just conversations," Sutter said. "I want to let the property rest for a year or so after 'Sons' is over before jumping in." He added that it would most likely arrive as another FX original series rather than a movie, however the details remain uncertain.
"I don't know if it will be a series or a limited series of say 10 to 13 episodes," he said. "I don't want to do it as a movie - tonally, I don't see it as a movie."
In addition to a possible prequel series, Sutter has also promised fans that season 6 will be the most violent yet, which is saying a lot in the wake of Opie's death in season 5. The show will pick up with Jax at the helm of SAMCRO, while Clay (Ron Perlman) remains in prison. Jax is already feeling the heat from Lee Toric (Donal Logue) and the other clubs in Charming, so it will be interesting to see how he handles himself under pressure.
"Sons of Anarchy" will return to FX this fall.
