Halo 5, the second entry in the "Reclaimer" trilogy will release exclusively on the Xbox One in 2014, Microsoft confirmed at their E3 2013 press conference in a new cinematic trailer. The CG footage features an Uncharted-like scene in which a robed Master Chief walks through a barren, sandy wasteland and comes upon a monstrous robotic enemy. No gameplay was shown, as the sequel is likely still early in development.
The tentative title which appears at the end of the trailer simply says "Halo" rather than Halo 5, so it is likely that the name of the game is not yet finalized. The Halo franchise is now heralded by 343 Industries, a studio which houses a number of former Bungie employees.
Bungie, the development team behind the original Halo and every series entry preceding Halo 4, is now hard at work on Destiny, the highly anticipated online multiplayer shooter. Check out the new trailer and stay tuned to Latinos Post for the latest E3 2013 updates.
