The Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer debut at the Xbox One reveal event in May revved up the hype machine, but that was just the beginning. Now, Activision is plotting to steal the show again at E3 with a special live stream for the game on June 9 at 11:00 A.M Pacific Standard Time.

The live stream promises to have a variety of new and exciting footage for the game, according to IGN. The presentation will include 30 minutes of gameplay footage, as well as behind the scenes videos and interviews about the game. It will be interesting to see if Activision actually shows someone playing the game on stage, or if the "gameplay footage" is merely a montage of scenes from the game.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to launch November 5 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Pc, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game to follow. The game is set in a brand-new setting separate from the Modern Warfare titles of the series, and will feature brand-new characters, including the now infamous dog squad member Colin. Colin has become one of the most memorable parts of both Call of Duty: Ghosts and the Xbox One reveal, and has become a popular meme in the process.

Activision figures to try and make a splash after the somewhat lukewarm reception that their biggest franchise got during the Xbox One reveal, so it will be interesting to see what they have in store for E3. A solid performance at the biggest event for the video game industry should help people forget the annoying or laughable parts of the Xbox One reveal and remind them of what established Call of Duty as one of the biggest franchises of all time. Tune in June 9 as we bring you all the updates from the Call of Duty live stream.
