Despite being a couple months away, the cast of FX's 'American Horror Story: Coven' is slowly coming together. The third season, which will follow the very successful second season entitled 'Asylum,' has added yet another star to its already impressive cast.

According to TVLine, "Scream 4" actress Emma Roberts will join boyfriend and 'American Horror Story' regular Evan Peters in the upcoming season. Roberts, who will play "a self-involved party girl by the name of Madison," is just the latest addition to the popular series by Ryan Murphy.

Back in February, Murphy also revealed to TVLine that actress Kathy Bates would join the third season to play a "bad, bad woman!" Murphy said that Bates' character is "five times worse than [her] 'Misery' character-which is why she liked it."

"When I pitched this to Kathy, her mouth was drop-jawed because what I was pitching actually happened," the show creator shared with TVLine. "It's a true event...You'll see. It's some good stuff."

As previously reported, "Precious" actress Gabourey Sidibe has also signed up for the third season, which will be witch-themed. Actresses Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone will be joining the series as new characters as well, TVLine reported. "American Horror Story" alums Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga will be returing for the addictive series' third season.

The third season of the popular show will be "more historical in nature" and have a "different tone" than previous seasons, Murphy told TVLine. The co-creator also revealed that it will take place in modern day but that that it will also visit different "time periods" and "there [will] also be different cities."
