The "Man of Steel" release date is drawing near and a plethora of spoilers are starting to arrive online.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. Read at your own discretion.

Comicbookmovie.com has recently unveiled a wealth of new information on the film, including potential spoilers on the film's ending.

The first bit of major information regards Superman's suit in the film. The publication reveals that it is a "Kryptonian environmental suit that appears to be used to help navigate the Kryptonian vessels which are actually alive." The spoilers also state that the costume is a product from the Fortress of Solitude. This Fortress is apparently organic and filled with Kryptonian artifacts.

A number of other major spoilers delve into the mystical powers surrounding the Kryptonians. The publication indicates that "the Phantom Zone projector is located in Krypton's orbit" and that a prison barge known as Black Zero takes criminals to the aforementioned Phantom Zone. An explosion on Krypton causes the Black Zero to come under General Zod's (Michael Shannon) control and becomes his ship.

The publication also noted that the film includes a major dream sequence in which Zod torments Superman. "Superman as a tyrant is part of the dream sequence with the Man of Steel in an all black version of the suit, as Zod is in essence tempting him like the Devil," says the article.

There is also some information on Superman's illegal birth. Apparently, Kal-El, also known as Superman, is of natural birth; this is illegal on Krypton because every person is genetically created and designed. However, Jor-El and Lara, Superman's parents, wanted to create the first free Kryptonian and put themselves in tremendous danger in the process.

Finally, the article reveals that Zod is "sentenced to 300 years of reconditioning in the Phantom Zone." There is no indication of whether this occurs prior to the movie or whether his sentencing comes at the end of the film.

"Man of Steel" stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Shannon as General Zod, Lawrence Fishburne as Perry White, Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

The film will open at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 12th and will be released nationwide in theaters on June 14, 2013. "Man of Steel" is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language.
