The next Apple mobile operating system will go through an overhaul in both "look" and "feel," according to a new report.
As Latinos Post previously reported, Apple's Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, Jony Ive, is leading the iOS team for what may be a "flat" design for the mobile platform. The term "flat" is used as simplistic, and could see Apple drop heavy textures and gradients from items such as its icons.

Sources to 9to5Mac are now reporting the iOS 7 will be "black, white and flat all over." Further, iOS 7 has reportedly gone through several new interfaces and it could see further changes until the start of Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) next month.
With over half a billion Apple devices in the world, Ive faces the challenge of making the next iOS as "clean and seamless," as 9to5Mac stated, while maintaining its simplicity for customers. The challenge comes as the report stated Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and previous iOS chief Scott Forstall pushed for the texture-heavy interface seen on the mobile platform.
"[Ive] has essentially made his mark on every corner of the operating system, according to descriptions from sources, all while mostly keeping the essence of what has made iOS so ubiquitous," wrote 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman.
The iOS 7 will allegedly drop the "shiny, transparent" time bar seen on the lock screen for a black interface with no shine. The square keypad used to enter the pin code is also expected to change form to round-black buttons with white borders surrounding the white text.
Apple's apps are reportedly set to change to the white, black, and flat theme as previously mentioned.
A glimpse to iOS 7 may come at the sold-out WWDC, which is set for June 10 to 14 from San Francisco, Calif.
