Warner Brothers continues to amp up the promotion of director Christopher Nolan's Batman swansong "The Dark Knight Rises."

The latest bit of advertising and marketing comes in the form of new clips and a trailer, as well as an Anne Hathaway appearance on the 'Today' show. Hathaway talked about her first time seeing co-star Christian Bale in the Batman suit for the first time.

"I had a total fan moment the first time he spoke in the Batman voice. I just like kind of giggled, it was a little unprofessional but I couldn't help it," Hathaway told Matt Lauer.

She also talked about how much she enjoyed the fighting in the film. Apparently, she had a strong workout routine in which she was asked to build muscle instead of losing weight.

She attributed her performance to Christopher Nolan's direction. "Iif you can't trust Chris Nolan ... I don't know who you can trust," she added.

Aside from Hathaway's interview, Warner Brother's has released three clips and a new trailer in the last few days to amp up the anticipation. The first clip showcases Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale) and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) walking through the applied sciences department of Wayne Enterprises. Fox introduces a crippled Wayne to the Bat, a vehicle that has been shown to fly in trailers and is also a reimagined version of the batplane from the comics. The scene ends with Fox saying "And yes Mr. Wayne, it does come in black," a reference to Wayne's question about the tumbler's color in the first film "Batman Begins."

The second clip showcases an intimate dance between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) in which Kyle warns Wayne of an impending "storm" that is about to rain down on Gotham City. The scene also makes a reference to the class warefare that is expected to take place in the film.

The third clip introduces the character of John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) conversing with Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman). In these, Blake questions Gordon about the reputation of Batman and whether or not he really is as bad as people think he is. We also learn that Blake's father died on that night that represented "The Dark Knight's" climax.

Reviews
As for the reviews, on Friday July 6, Warner Bros. reportedly had its first screening of the upcoming and highly anticipated "The Dark Knight Rises" movie in a private event where the press and critics were invited.

The reviews are all terrific, meaning maybe Warner Bros. only invited good friends and acquaintances. But also, it could mean that Christopher Nolan may have rendered another memorable and epic flick, leaving other super-hero movies in the dust. Luckily, only one week remains before people can finally get to test what the critics say.

Here they are:

Tom McAuliffe @TomMcAuliffe - Just finished the screening of Dark Knight Rises...so much awesome...can't wait to see it again. And again. 9 out of 10 for me. I'd put Amazing Spider-Man at a 7.5 and Avengers at an 8.5.

Brian Limond ‏- "Just back from a special preview screening of The Dark Knight Rises. Very good. It's everything and more. You're gonna LOVE IT!"

Marco Gennuso @marcogennuso - Vince just saw Dark Knight Rises at a press screening & says: "Wow. Quite speechless at the moment....TDKR was everything I wanted it to be"

Zach Pincus ‏- "The Dark Knight Rises is not only easily the best Batman movie yet, but now one of my favorite movies I've ever seen. It was unbelievable!"

Lauren Heistand - "The Dark Knight Rises has just finished screening for the press and critics, receiving a STANDING OVATION!!!"

Finally, Warner Brothers released a final trailer of the film on Tuesday July 10 that emphasized the three films.
