The Chicago Blackhawks will look to regain momentum and even their best of seven series with the Detroit Red Wings when the two sides meet Thursday in Game 4.

A dominating 4-1 victory in Game 1 had many pundits believing that Chicago would run away with the series. However, the team has looked lost against the Red Wings in the last two games. Game 2 was an embarrassing 4-1 loss while Game 3 saw the Red Wings earn a 3-1 victory.

"I thought we had close games with them all year, they just came out on top," said Detroit forward Patrick Eaves.

"I feel like we can play with these guys. We know they're a great team and we have to respect that, respect their skill. But we've been getting better. As long as we keep getting better on a nightly basis I think that's all we can worry about."

The Blackhawks scored a tying goal in the game but it was disallowed on the grounds that Andrew Shaw was interfering with Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard.

"[It is] one of those things I think maybe they can call it but most of the time, they're going to let that one go, especially when you get pushed in there and he doesn't even touch the goalie," Stalberg said.

"If he trips the goalie or makes contact or anything, I think that's an easier call. But that's a tough one, no doubt about it, especially [one] that would tie the game up, then they're coming right back and scoring on us. It's obviously a big shift."

Captain Jonathan Toews has yet to register a point in this series and has been constantly dominated by Detroit captain Henrik Zetterberg. He only has three points in eight postseason games.

"It takes something like this to slap you in the face, so to speak, to really understand what adversity is and how tough the playoffs can be," Toews said about the loss.

"A lot of guys in this room have been in tough positions before in the playoffs, and that's never stopped us. We know this is a long series and we're going to be fighting until the end."

Prediction: Chicago wins 3-1.
