Metro: Last Light is getting several DLC packs, publisher Deep Silver announced to Eurogamer.

The game, made by Ukraine-based 4A Games, will have additional story chapters added to its lineup, in addition to new challenges and special tools.

The first set of DLC, the Faction Pack, will be available in June and feature a brand new story chapter. The Tower Pack will include a new solo challenge aimed to test a player's skill in the game. Finally, the Developer Pack is set to give players a whole new set of tools in which to explore the world of Metro.

Those Interested in the DLC of the game are in luck, as a season pass will be made available, offering all three packs of DLC for a discounted sum of $14.99. Ordering the season pass also gives players a new semi-automatic shotgun called the Abzats. In addition, PlayStation Plus users can get the season pass for an additional 25 percent discount from now until June 5.

"Artyom's story may have been concluded in Metro: Last Light, but there are other characters with stories to tell, some familiar locations that fans of the Metro series wanted to revisit, and some new challenges that 4A wanted to explore. Since completing the game we have been working on these new stories and hope to release them throughout the summer," said 4A creative director Andrew Prokhorov.

Metro: Last Light has been well received by critics and fans, and could be one of the sleeper hits of the year. But the game has had a difficult road to follow, as the game was supposed to be published by THQ before the company went bankrupt. Reports then came to light about the harsh conditions that 4A Games employees had to endure while creating the game. But now with a new publisher in Deep Silver and a successful game, things are looking up for the company.

Metro: Last Light is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
