Four new Man of Steel posters were revealed in anticipation for the release of the film.
The first is a banner of Henry Cavill in the Superman suit as he flies through the air. A similar banner was also revealed for Michael Shannon. The last two posters were character art for Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon.
The new posters have been part of Warner Bros campaign to create anticipation for the movie.
The new film tells the story of a young journalist who is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.
It is the franchise fist reboot since 2006's "Superman Returns" flopped at the box office.
"Man of Steel" was directed by Zack Snyder who is best known for his work on "Watchman" and "300." He also directed "Sucker Punch" and "Legend of Guardians: The Owl of Ga'Hoole."
Christopher Nolan wrote the story and produced the film after having directed "The Dark Knight" series, "Inception" and "The Prestige." He is currently directing "Interstellar" with Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, and Anne Hathaway. He is also rumored to direct James Bond 24.
David S. Goyer, who is best known for his work on "Batman Begins" and "Ghost Rider" wrote the script for the film. He last wrote "Godzilla" and "Metal Gear Solid."
The film stars Cavill as Superman, Shannon as General Zod, Lawrence Fishburne as Perry White, Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
It will open at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 12th and will be released nationwide in theaters on June 14, 2013. "Man of Steel" is rated PG-13 for for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language.
