Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are rumored to be judges on "The X Factor Season 3."
TMZ is reporting that the two singers are in final negotiations to join Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato as judges of the FOX show. They would be replacing L.A Reid and Britney Spears who were heavily criticized for their season 2 participation and left due to career obligations.
Fox has not confirmed anything but according to EW, Rowland seems to be in advanced talks for the new season. However rumors state that Rubio has not been approached by Fox.
Rowland recently reunited with Destiny's Child during the Superball Half time show as part of Beyonce's performance. She has appeared as a judge and mentor during Season 8 of the U.K. version of "The X Factor." Additionally, she has worked as judge on "So You Think You Can Dance."
Rubio is currently a coach on "La Voz Kids" on Telemundo. The show has yet to conclude with Live shows yet to air. She was also judge on "La Voz" in Mexico. The Mexican singer has recently been involved in a divorce trial with her ex-husband in which she has been fighting for the custody of her child.
"The X Factor" was started in 2011 after Cowell left "American Idol." The show has already gone through various hosts and Mario Lopez is currently slated to continue hosting duties. Previous judges include Paul Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger with Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh serving as guests. L.A Reid and Cowell have also both won as mentors.
The past two winners were Melanie Amaro and Tate Stevens who have recorded successful albums.
Whether the rumors are true or not the deals must be completed soon as production on Season 3 of The X Factor begins on Tuesday.
