Omar Borkan Al Gala finally gets his Facebook account back! The internet sensation's account nears one million followers on his social media page as his fan base continuously grows.

Al Gala shot to fame last month when reports surfaced that three men were deported off Saudi Arabia for being "too handsome." Online searches about the three stirred the web until various sites confirmed that Omar Borkan was one of the deportees.

Coming from the United Arab Emirates, the self-proclaimed poet, photographer, model and actor was visiting a festival in Riyadh when religious police approached him and two others, and taken into custody. According to Saudi Arabia's Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices, the men posted a threat to the women for being too attractive in a conservative Muslim country.

Since reports of the deportation made its rounds online, Omar became an instant sensation raking up hundreds of thousands of followers on Facebook. However, on May 2, the several media outlets reported that the 'illegally' good looking hunk had lost his FB Page. The announcement was posted on yet another Page the actor was using.

In an interview with Yahoo! OMG, Borkan confirmed that his social media account had been deleted. He explained, however, that his team was already working on getting his account back.

And getting back the account he did!

On May 9, the dashing model posted on his official account that he had his account restored. His first status message since losing his account read:

"Facebook is in the process of correcting the situation with my FB page and I would like to thank you for all your support and hope to resolve this issue soon. THIS IS THE OFFICIAL OMAR BORKAN AL GALA PAGE. Stay tuned..."

In the next days, the soon-to-be-star-of-a-UAE-independent-movie posted more photos and status messages on the account, including a Mother's Day greeting.

"Happy Mother's Day for all of you. I have a great Mom as you guys do, let's show love for them and keep them happy as possible as we can," Borkan wrote on his Page.

While the page is already up and running, it's worth noting the big gap in the model's timeline though. This could be caused by the previous deletion of the account. His more than 923,000 followers are just hoping that he can keep his official page this time.
