Only one week is left until WWE's next big Pay Per View event, Extreme Rules, meaning a big-time episode of Monday Night Raw is in store from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The war between 13-time world champion Triple H and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is taking off to another level after Lesnar trashed Triple H's office at WWE headquarters last week. Now, "the King of Kings" has issued a challenge for Lesnar to meet him in the ring this Monday. Will Lesnar answer the challenge? And if so, what kind of carnage will take place?
Multi-time WWE champion Jericho will be in the house to continue his feud with the up and coming sensation Fandango, this time culminating in a dance-off. For those unfamiliar, during his last extended break from WWE between 2010 and 2012, Jericho made an appearance on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," competing for several weeks before he was eliminated from competition, so he knows how to strut his stuff on the dance floor. Choosing Polish-born dancer Edyta Sliwinska as his partner, Jericho and Fandango should be putting on an interesting segment.
The feud between WWE Champion John Cena and No.1 contender Ryback is intensifying. Last week, Ryback laid waste to Cena with a steel chair on Raw and beat up on Jericho on Smackdown. Ryback is scheduled to be on the show, and it should be interesting to see how these two prepare for their grueling Last Man Standing WWE title match at Extreme Rules.
The Miz is slated to return to the ring after a weeks-long break, according to Wrestling Inc.com via F4WOnline.com. The former WWE Champion was on break filming his latest film project, "The Christmas Bounty." After losing his Intercontinental Championship to Wade Barrett, it should be interesting to see how the Miz rebounds as he looks to re-establish himself in the rankings.
Following the potentially earth-shaking news of World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler suffering a concussion during the Smackdown taping last week, WWE.com is promising an update Monday night on the condition of Ziggler headed into his Extreme Rules world title defense against Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger. Depending upon his condition, which is being monitored on a day-to-day basis, the Extreme Rules match could be tweaked to feature only Swagger and Del Rio.
The WWE's official website is also teasing the angle involving WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn and her secret admirer.
