Carrier AIO Wireless has launched the Nokia Lumia 620.

The Windows Phone 8 smartphone that has been touted for its low price is now available for $179.99. The Lumia 620's blue model is only available.

If a consumer interested in purchasing the Lumia 620 with AIO Wireless, he or she has the option of choosing two data plans, the AIO Pro and AIO Smart.

Starting with AIO Pro, the Lumia 620 will have unlimited data with high-speed access for the first 7GB of data. Unlimited Talk is another feature with voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding, and three-way calling. Unlimited Message is offered, from short messages, pictures, and videos. The price for the plan starts at $70.00.

The AIO Smart option is $15 less than the previous data plan. Unlimited data is available but with high-speed access for only the first 2GB of data. Unlimited Talk and Unlimited Message remains the same as AIO Pro. The data plan's price starts at $55.00.

It appears that the Lumia 620 is selling well with the carrier already as one of the accessories available to purchase - the Nokia Bumper Case - is out of stock.

AIO Wireless is AT&T's low-cost brand, which launched in Houston, Orlando, and Tampa.

Features for the Lumia 620 include a 3.8-inch TFT capacitive screen. The screen resolution is 800x480 with 246 pixels per inch. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone is only available in a 8GB internal storage model with 512MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available for up to 64GB of additional storage.

The photographic capabilities of the Lumia 620 include a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 2,592x1,936 pixels. A front-facing camera is available with Video Graphics Array (VGA) specs. The Lumia 620's battery capacity is 1,300mAh, which offers up to 330 hours on standby and nine hours and 50 minutes under a 3G network.
