The optical image stabilization of the Lumia 928 is shown off in Nokia's latest test videos ahead of its launch.

Nokia released "Flying through the Canadian wilderness with the Nokia Lumia" on Thursday, and unlike the previous Lumia 928 test videos, it did not compare its capabilities to Apple's iPhone 5 or Samsung's Galaxy S3.

"Most people believe that a smartphone camera doesn't have the quality to do challenging cinematic work. When it comes to the new Nokia Lumia, we disagree," described Nokia. "To prove it, we set out to film something awe inspiring to bring to life the quality of the camera features in Nokia Lumia phones, including its ability to film high definition video in 1080p, and its Optical Image Stabilization technology to create blur free shots."

And while for the third time Nokia did not name the Lumia 928 in the video, it is confirmed once you click on the URL provided by the Finnish-based company on YouTube.

"In order to do this, we went to Squamish valley in British Columbia, which is renowned for its natural beauty," continued Nokia. "We attached the Lumia to a remote control helicopter and filmed as many remote, scenic and inaccessible locations as we could in one amazing day of good weather.

"We drove up old logging roads and flew off the sides of cliffs, we filmed sunken barges that can only be seen when the tide is completely out, and we flew the helicopter into waterfalls and river gorges to capture footage that you wouldn't be able to see in any other way."

Nokia concluded that the result was "pretty amazing," and credited Twitter user @aharpaz for suggesting the idea for the video.

In less than one day, the video has accumulated over 20,000 views so far.

The video for the Lumia 928 comes less than a week before a Nokia Lumia event in London on May 14. According to WMPowerUser, Nokia announced a webcast will be available for view the event.
