It's that time. More "50 Shades of Grey" casting rumors for fans to chew on while we wait for official word from E. L. James and Universal Studios. As fans desperately cling on, mock trailers continue to fuel to web with hopeful speculations. One potential Christian Grey candidate whose name hasn't ben mentioned in awhile has now resurfaced and stirring new "50 Shades" buzz, while another fan-favorite has withdrew from contention.

Channing Tatum, from "Magic Mike" and "21 Jump Street," lost his Christian Grey clout when he told fans that he'd like to spend more time behind the cameras, yet that hasn't stopped "50 Shades" fans from drooling over the prospect of him hopping back on board, as MStars points out.

In an interview with Glamour Magazine last summer, Tatum admitted that he wasn't against taking on such a seductive, scandalous role, but his wife thought differently. It makes sense. Would anyone want to watch their significant other getting down and dirty on the big screen with a fellow Hollywood heartthrob in a "50 Shades of Grey" movie?

"Yes. I'd only be allowed if my wife was Ana," Tatum said. "She's read the books so I don't think she'd be impressed if she couldn't be Ana!" That's too bad of her, especially since a new fan-made trailer features Tatum alongside "Les Miserables'" Amanda Seyfried. So there you go Mrs. Tatum. You have to painfully watch as you husband stars as Christian Grey whether you like it or not. Check it out for yourself below.

In other "50 Shades" news, top contender Stephen Amell has apparently pulled out of the running for Christian Grey. Although he previously expressed interest with a Facebook video post and then later during an interview with Jay Leno, after reading the books through, he claims there's no way he'll play the role but wishes the crew great success.

"Was on a flight yesterday evening back to LA with no movie, so I grabbed 50 Shades of Grey and burned through it," he wrote. "Ummm... I hope they get the movie made, and I'm sure someone will be excellent in it. That person will not be me."

Thanks a lot for wasting our time Amell. You probably should have read the books before expressing interest and breaking the hearts of hopeful fans. Well, all we can do is move on to the next one. There are plenty more Christian Grey candidates to choose from, so if anything, Amell just made things a little bit easier.
