It's official, a new Nokia Lumia device is on its way and the Finnish-based manufacturer is already promoting its camera capabilities.
Nokia has released a video titled "The Hurricane," which tests the low light and OIS filming of the new Nokia Lumia smartphone against Samsung's Galaxy S3 and Apple's iPhone 5.
While the video does not state the name of the new Nokia device, the video is available on Nokia's official website, which URL features the Lumia 928 name.
As for "The Hurricane" video, "We took the new Nokia Lumia to Adventureland in Farmingdale, New York and strapped it to the front row of a rollercoaster called 'The Hurricane.' It's 60ft high and has an inverted loop, so we thought we would capture some video footage alongside the Samsung Galaxy S III as well as the iPhone 5. Which phone takes better video on this shake-filled and low-lit ride? You decide," described Nokia.
The video noted the Lumia 928's greater color saturation and sharper image focus compared to the iPhone 5 and its sharper image focus and less video noise to the Galaxy S3.
The debut of "The Hurricane" by Nokia comes a day after a picture on Vanity Fair magazine featured an advertisement of the Lumia 928. Although the Lumia 928 name was not shown on the advertisement, once again, the URL from Nokia's official website shows the Lumia 928 name.
As for the features for the Lumia 928, WPCentral's Daniel Rubino, via an anonymous source, reported that the Windows Phone 8 smartphone will include a 2,000mAh battery capacity, 32GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot, 4.5-inch screen with 334 pixels per inch, 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, and weigh 5.7 ounces.
