At last, the Nokia Lumia 928 has been confirmed.
First, in what might have been a premature leak, Vanity Fair published an advertisement with the tagline "Capture the Highlights." The advertisement was for the Nokia Lumia 928.
The advertisement further confirmed the upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be under Verizon Wireless and touted the low-light photography capabilities.
The advertisement featured a website people can visit, which is now active.
Nokia's official page further confirmed the Lumia 928. Although the main page is at the moment simple, it features the same advertisement seen on Vanity Fair. It doesn't show the Verizon Wireless logo however.
As Latinos Post reported, a billboard was seen promoting the Lumia 928, however at the time the validity was unconfirmed.
The reveal comes exactly a week before ahead Nokia's Lumia event from London. Nokia has not confirmed what the event will entail but most likely showcase the Lumia 928 and possibly other smartphones and devices.
As for the features for the Lumia 928, WPCentral's Daniel Rubino, via an anonymous source, reported that the Windows Phone 8 smartphone will include a 2,000mAh battery capacity, 32GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot, 4.5-inch screen with 334 pixels per inch, 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, and weigh in at 5.7 ounces.
