There have been multiple indicators that Daft Punk's return will be the most celebrated in the music industry this year. As if the unparalleled hype surrounding their upcoming album, a 90-second preview that trumped the entire Coachella music festival, and a number one single wasn't enough to prove that Random Access Memoires will be the biggest album of the summer, their track "Get Lucky" has claimed the top spot on the UK charts for the second week in a row.

"Get Lucky" features singer/producer Pharrell Williams and legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers. It debuted on the charts at No. 3 and has since sat comfortably at No. 1, proving that Daft Punk are back and they're here to stay. It's their lead single from their fourth studio album, Random Access Memories, their first in eight years. "Get Lucky" is their third biggest hit behind "One More Time" (2000) and "Around the World" (1997).

Fans were ecstatic to hear that Daft Punk would be making their comeback. They obsessed over 30-second ads that originally aired during "Saturday Night Live," they raved over the 90-second "Get Lucky" promo that aired during Coachella and snatched up the majority of festival headlines, and they've clearly been rocking out to "Get Lucky" repeatedly over the past three weeks. The album release is now only two weeks away, and it couldn't come soon enough. "Get Lucky" was a massive hit, and although it's still topping the UK charts, it's only wetted our appetites for more. It's been eight years since we've heard new Daft Punk material. It's understandable if fans are a little antsy to get their hands on the upcoming album.

Check out an unofficial leaked version of the new album's closing track, "Contact," below. Although it has yet to be confirmed if the track is the studio version, the evidence rather convincing.

Random Access Memories will hit stores May 21 via Daft Life Limited, an imprint of Columbia Records.
