The Nokia Lumia 928 was allegedly spotted this week during a special concert.
The smartphone, which has yet to be confirmed by Nokia, was seen during a private concert featuring singer Ed Sheeran and hosted by Nokia.
According to The Nokia Blog, the audience was a mix of people from the media and influencers.
"I talked to some tech bloggers, fashion bloggers, and culture bloggers," wrote The Nokia Blog's Mark Guim. "Many of them were given Nokia Lumia 920 smartphones to check out, take photos and shoot videos."
Although he thought the event was just for the Lumia 920, he may have been wrong. He noticed a device on a number of tripods, monopods, and on the hands of many people.
"It matched the description of the rumored Nokia Lumia 928," Guim added. "The xenon flash was unmistakable. I think the event was set up to be filmed with several Nokia Lumia 928 devices."
It is possible the recording of the event will be used for the Lumia 928's launch.
The report comes after WPCentral editor Daniel Rubino reported that an anonymous source "dropped" information of the Lumia 928 and its xenon flash.
In addition, according to Rubino's source, alleged specifications for the Lumia 928 include 32GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot, 4.5-inch screen with 334 pixels per inch, 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, a weight of 5.7 ounces, and a 2,000mAh battery capacity.
Neither Microsoft nor Nokia confirmed any details about the Lumia 928, but the Finnish-based company did confirm a Lumia event for May 14 in London.
