According to a new rumor, there is a survey circulating around for Battlefield 4 in which developer DICE is asking players what they would like to see out of the game and it's potential DLC. This comes from a user on NeoGAF claiming he took the survey, and details some interesting directions Battlefield 4 may go, if this is indeed accurate.
One potential change to Battlefield 4 may be more dynamic multiplayer maps. The example given was a map based around a dam, which could be destroyed, thus causing the environment to become flooded. Another change could be the remaking of maps from previous games such as Caspian Border and Operation Metro with the Frostbite 3 engine. The alleged survey also gave potential names for this pack, calling it "BF4: Recommissioned," "BF4: Reenlisted," "BF4: War Torn," and "BF4: Reconstructed."
Others questions in the supposed survey asked about new themed DLC packages that could potentially be made for the game. One focused on naval combat, possibly with jet skis or other smaller watercraft. The other was much more out there, wondering if players would be interested in a DLC mode where players must fight dinosaurs with stone age weapons, such as bows and arrows. Other questions of the survey also asked if players were interested in scheduling matches with friends through Battlelog 2.0, and the possibility of carrying over unlockables and ranks from Battlefield 3.
With no actual proof of this survey existing, this is definitely news to put firmly in the rumors column. Perhaps DICE or the user was inspired by the recent re release of Jurassic Park in 3D, or felt that Battleship was a criminally underrated movie. Whatever the case may be, Battlefield 4 fans will find out eventually if these rumors are real, or a flight of fantasy.
