The mystery of the Lumia Live Centre ad from Malaysia has been revealed.
Following an eerie teaser featuring a man in a padded cell and the phrase "Oh dear, what can the matter be?" alerting the viewer, the answer was announced on Thursday.
The advertisement was about the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520. It was a bit anti-climatic as it was expected to be the before mentioned devices or perhaps the long-rumored Lumia 928.
The Lumia Live Centre site now redirects visitors to their Facebook page where people can take a "journey to a socialitis-free life." The site adds testimonials from three people who have used the Lumia 720 or Lumia 520, however, the site added a "real disclaimer" that the characters appearing on the campaign are fictitious.
According to WMPowerUser, the Lumia 520 will be available in black, cyan, red, white, and yellow and priced at RM 599, or $197.35 when converted to the U.S. dollar. The Lumia 720 will have a price tag of RM 999, or $329.14, for either black, red, yellow or white models.
The Malaysian confirmation comes as a Mexican magazine might have revealed the two Windows Phone 8 smartphones may make its debut in the country this summer.
The Lumia 720 and Lumia 520, which have been paired together in a number of launches worldwide, first made their debut at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last February.
