Dina Ruiz, the wife of director and actor Clint Eastwood of 17 years, has checked herself into rehab for depression and anxiety.

TMZ reports that the TV anchor and news reporter checked herself into a treatment facility in Arizona to deal with depression and anxiety. Her handlers noted that she does not have a substance abuse problem and that her rehab is strictly depression related.

Ruiz stars in the E! reality show "Mrs. Eastwood & Company," which is based on her life with Eastwood's daughter from a previous relationship, Francesca, and the couple's 16-year-old daughter, Morgan. However, rumors swirled that Clint was against the project from its conception and that it lead to contention in the couple's marriage. According to reports, the couple actually split up and have been living apart for several months. When they came together recently for Clint's oldest daughter's wedding, insiders say there was noticeable tension as Clint sat at the far end of a reception table speaking to no one.

In addition, the 47-year-old TV anchor and the 82-year-old actor have not been photographed together publicly since 2011.

Previously, Eastwood was married to Maggie Johnson for 31 years. He then dated actress and singer Sondra Locke for 14 years and the couple starred in six films together.

Following Locke, Eastwood met actress Frances Fisher who became the mother of his daughter Francesca. They split after five years together when Eastwood met Ruiz who 35 years younger than him.
