Daft Punk, Daft Punk, Daft Punk. That's all we've been hearing the past week since the official release of their first single, "Get Lucky." The two featured artists, legendary funk guitarist Nile Rodgers and producer Pharrell Williams, graced the track and helped make it into a jam that will define the approaching summer months. The two artists also participated in Daft Punk's collaborator series, and interview series with each of the various artists that had a hand in the synth pop duo's new album, Random Access Memories. Other well-known producers such as Giorgio Moroder and Todd Edwards also discussed what it was like working with the robots in previous episodes, and now the series continues with its fifth installemnt, featuring an interview with Panda Bear.

Panda Bear, aka Noah Lennox of Animal Collective talks about how he discovered dance music for the first time and how watching Daft Punk's artistic process has altered his approach to music. He also admits that he previously asked the duo to remix his own music on several occasions, but they repeatedly turned him down. Perhaps their decision to include Lennox on the new album serves as an indirect apology. Daft Punk would never work with someone they don't respect or hold in high regards. They're perfectionists. Their decision not to collaborate with Panda Bear in the past shouldn't reflect on his musical capabilities, but rather on the band's busy schedule. Now, Lennox and Daft Punk have finally teamed up to create something incredible. Check out the full interview below.

As "Get Lucky" continues to rock the airwaves, fans are counting down the days until the release of Random Access Memories. The album will hit stores May 21 via Daft Life Limited, an imprint of Columbia Records. There is still no information regarding a subsequent tour, but fans keep their fingers crossed. Daft Punk has a track record of springing surprises on their fans. The tour will come, in due time. In the meantime, check out the most recent installment of "The Collaborators."
