"X-Men: Days of Future Past" recently started production and director Bryan Singer is actively using his social media skills to hype the film.
Singer recently posted a montage on Vine showcasing the directors' chairs for all of the cast members; each chair was labeled by the actor's respective character name. Among those showcased in the video are Bishop, Blink and Warpath. There were no confirmations as to who will actually play these roles, but a numbers of websites seem to be of the opinion that "Les Intouchables" actor Omar Sy will take on Bishop while Booboo Stewart will play Warpath. Fan Bingbing is apparently set to play Blink.
Bishop was a noted character in the 1990s animated series and is a time-traveler. James "Warpath" Proudstar is a rogue mutant that joins the ranks of evil Hellions. He is well-known for fighting as alongside X-Force; he previously went by the name Thunderbird. Blink is another teleporter.
Singer has previously utilized social media to reveal the return of franchise stars such as Patrick Stewart and Halle Berry. He also showcased a picture of a set, presumably Cerebro.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" stars Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Boo Boo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore. Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, and Jane Goldman wrote the screenplay. The movie is slated for a July 18, 2014 release and will follow the July 26, 2013 release of James Mangold's "The Wolverine."
