Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is back and has penned its dates for mid-June.

The five-day conference, nested in San Francisco's Moscone West, will gather developers from around the world from June 10 to 14.

The WWDC will give information to developers on Apple's plans on their iOS and OS X platforms, thus, enabling the creation of new apps and features by the time the next operating systems launch.

"We look forward to gathering at WWDC 2013 with the incredible community of iOS and OS X developers," said Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller.

According to Apple, over 1,000 Apple engineers will present more than 100 technical sessions ranging from developing, deploying, and integrating technologies utilized by the Cupertino-based company.

"Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we're excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps," added Schiller. "We can't wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC."

Tickets to attend the WWDC will go on sale worldwide starting Thurs., April 25 at 1 p.m. EST.

According to the WWDC website, each ticket costs $1,599. Apple notes you must be a member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program to purchase a ticket.
