As production on "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is underway, fans are slowly piecing together what they can expect. We've seen photos of Jaime Foxx in both his Max Dillon and Electro costumes. Dane DeHaan, who plays Harry Osborn, recently posted a photo of himself on set on Twitter. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have been spotted gallivanting through the New York streets on their time off, and now we're offered the first glimpse of Garfield in his brand new Spider-Man costume. Spider-Man is officially back, bigger and badder than ever.

The photos feature full-body images of Peter Parker in his Spider-Man gear. In the first photo we see Spidey clinging to a wall while the other shows him calmly perched on a building. Columbia pictures teased at the new costume design back in February, and fans are just now seeing it with their own eyes.

The primary difference from Garfield's last Spider-Man costume is the amount of red. The new costume has the red spider web design running down the arms, whereas in the last movie, it stopped at the shoulders. The red also wraps around his waist, resembling a belt.

It's unclear whether the new costume will make Spider-Man any stronger, but he's sure going to look good up on the big screen. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will hit theaters on May 2, 2014. It's a long way off, but as more photos and trailers trickle in, fans will be ready.

The sequel will feature Andrew Garfield reprising his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Stone will return as his forbidden love, Gwen Stacy. DeHaan joins the cast as Harry Osborne, and has reportedly been bulking up in preparation for the role, while Shailene Woodley will play Mary-Jane Watson. Foxx and Paul Giamatti will co-star as the film's villains, playing Electro and The Rhino respectively.
