Gears of War:Judgment will receive a new DLC pack later this month. The Call to Arms Map Pack will include three new multiplayer maps and a new multiplayer mode. The DLC will become available for VIP Season Pass owners for a 25% discount on April 23. Everyone else will be able to pick up the game on April 30 for 1000 Microsoft Points, or about $12.50. The map pack will also come with ten new achievements worth 250 gamerscore. Six new armor skins and weapon skins will also come with the pack. This is the second map pack for the game.

The three new maps are Terminal, Blood Drive, and Boneyard. The goal of these maps is to apparently explore the darker side of the Gears world, and are set against the backdrop of Halvo Bay during the Locust Invasion.

The new multiplayer mode, Master of Arms, is a unique twist on the game's multiplayer. The premise of the mode is that it is a free-for-all between players. The way to win is to get a kill with all 20 of the game's weapons without using melee or grenades. Players will start off with one weapon and, after getting a kill, the game will automatically switch to new one until all weapons are used.  This new mode will surely be a excellent addition to the game, and grant players the chance to try many different styles over the course of a single match.

The first DLC pack for the game was released for free on March 29, and was called Haven. Gears of War:Judgment was first released March 19 to widespread critical and commercial success, though not as much acclaim or sales as previous games in the series. Gamers should look forward to the Call to Arms DLC pack when it becomes available.
