Star Wars fans have been speculating what the future of the legendary sci-fi saga will be ever since Disney acquired Lucasfilm last year.

The thought of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo joining forces with the roster of Disney stars like Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck has struck Star War fans with some uneasiness.

But there is one fan, under the YouTube username SamMacaroni, who created a seven-minute video, depicting what the fate could possibly be for the space series in a video entitled "Star Wars VII-Return Of The Empire."

The video incorporates Disney-themed Star Wars elements like Goofy dressed as Chewbacca, Storm Troopers donning the iconic Mickey ears and Wall-E joining the droid ranks with C-3PO and R2-D2.

Perhaps one of the more entertaining portions of the video is when the far-out caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland appears in place of Jabba the Hutt.

And YouTube users seem to enjoy the parody.

"I know this is a parody but it's surprisingly very well made," posted Galen M.

"This is great! Awesome job, funny and extremely well made!" AlyssaBenjamin4444 commented.

SamMacaroni must have done something right considering that the video already has 507,220 views, including 13,754 users who gave the short-film a thumbs-up rating and 827 who gave it a thumbs-down.
