Bethesda has been in the news recently for their upcoming Elder Scrolls Online, as well as saying that they plan on having a very big 2013. Most of that hype has surrounded the possibility that the company would announce Fallout 4 sometime this year in addition to releasing Elder Scrolls Online. Well now the company has released as a teaser, and it is not Fallout 4.

On the social media site Vine, Bethesda has posted a strange video consisting of barbed wire, a spinning LP of The Moonlight Trio and George Shackley, and the music of Bach being briefly played. This has lead many to believe that the video points to Fallout 4, especially considering that Bach was featured in Fallout 3. However, the rumor was quickly shot down via Twitter by Peter Hines, Bethesda's vice president of marketing and public relations.

So if this clip is not for Fallout 4, then what exactly could the teaser be about? Some have speculated that this could be a clip about the mysterious "Project Tungsten" by ZeniMax Sweden, which is turn is supposedly codename for a new Castle Wolfenstein game. While a new entry in the Wolfenstein franchise has yet to be announced, the company has trademarked a Wolfenstein URL, so the game could be in the works.

Another possibility is the still unknown Project Zwei. This is a survival horror game being developed by Shinji Mikami, a former designer for Resident Evil. Bethesda is publishing the game, so it is within the realm of possibility they have begun building hype for the game already.

No matter what the case may be, Bethesda certainly is proving to be active recently, and with E3 looming, they may be trying to build up their profile before revealing some surprises for later this year.

What do you think Bethesda has up its sleeve?
