One of the current "Avengers'" movies in production is "Captain America: Winter Soldier." The film is slated for a 2014 release, but the cast and crew have started to unveil new information on the film.

Actor Anthony Mackie recently revealed some plot points about his character The Falcon. "I'm happy to say that I'm in a good deal of the movie and I play an integral part with Captain America taking down the Winter Soldier. It's great," said Mackie during an interview with BlackFilm. "They started the shoot 2 1/2 weeks ago and once I finished doing press for Pain & Gain, I go in and join them. I've been doing combat training and fitness training just to get prepared. It's going to be something and I'm excited for it."

Regarding his costume Mackie added, "It's more of a military style tactical costume. He's more along the lines of Captain America as far as being a superhero as opposed to a true superhero."

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely also noted that the film with the origin story out of the way, the new "Captain America" movie would be a far more eventful affair.

"Coming after the first movie and coming after The Avengers, there's now stuff we don't have to do in terms of, 'Let's give you the idea of who this guy is and he wears this outfit,"" said the writers. "Everybody knows now, so you can hit the ground running much more quickly than we did in the first one when we had to spend 40 minutes introducing the skinny guy. I think it allows for a much faster pace and a tenser movie."

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is slated for an April 4,2014 release date.
