Nokia is set to release another update for three Nokia Lumia smartphones following glitches found in their previous patch.
According to a report, the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will receive an update labeled "Version 1232.5957.1308.00xx." The fixes in this update include improvements to the automatic display brightness, screen fixes which has been reported to blank out during calls, and other performance issues.
"The update will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks, so please stay patient and wait for the notification to pop up on your phone screen once your phone is eligible," noted Nokia in their Support Discussions. "The exact software version may vary between different regions."
The Lumia 620 will also see an update with "Version 1030.6407.1308.00xx." The Windows Phone 8 smartphone's fixes include various system stability, performance, and usability improvements, notably:
- Improved touch screen functions, including corrections in multi-touch actions,
- Better voice quality with Bluetooth headsets that support echo/noise suppression,
- Enhanced camera performance with corrected exposure when flash is used in bright light conditions.
The updates come as Lumia 920 device owners reported issues with connecting to AT&T's network.
"My L920 has been having a difficult time connecting to AT&T since the firmware update," posted clyderd on Reddit. "It was going in and out, it shows the bars but I am unable to send or receive texts or anything else without being on WiFi. Anyone else had this happen to them?"
The complaints have since increased, but until the update is released, the issues will remain.
