Rockstar Games has released photos of the completed mural depicting the box art of Grand Theft Auto 5 in New York City. The mural was started over two weeks ago, and finally has reached completion to great acclaim from the Grand Theft Auto fanbase. The mural shows the three main characters of the game, Franklin, Michael, and Trevor, in addition to several various objects and people seen in the game.

While Rockstar has been busy on Grand Theft Auto 5, they have released several other projects related to the game to build hype for it before the game's release on September 17. Rockstar released several new screenshots for the game, showing new activities such as scuba diving that will be in the game. Last week the developer also released official playlists from various radio stations from many previous Grand Theft Auto games for iTunes and Spotify. The company also has released the PlayStation Portable/PlayStation 2 titles Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City and Vice City Stories on the PlayStation Network.

While this releases and events are all very interesting, Rockstar is keeping silent on what fans really want: more information about Grand Theft Auto 5. The game is still months away from being released, and Rockstar has said that they will not release very much actual information about the game, so that it can remain as unspoiled as possible for players once they actually get their hands on it. Perhaps the combination of the lack of information about the game, and the fact the Rockstar refuses to annualize the series has lead to Grand Theft Auto 5 becoming one of the world's most anticipated games of the year.

Grand Theft Auto will be released onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Rumors have it that the game will eventually come to the PC and next-gen consoles, but so far there is no word on whether that will happen or not.
