The season four finale of "The Vampire Diaries" is approaching, fast. With only one month of Mystic Falls drama remaining, we're going to see some major shifts in our favorite characters. Everything is on the brink of disaster. Many questions remain, most of which will be answered by the season's close. What will become of Elena (Nina Dobrev)? How long will her reign of terror last? Who is the real Silas? Fortunately for curious fans, TVLine hints that these questions may be answered sooner than we thought.
In the upcoming episode titled "Pictures of You," fans may catch "a passing glimpse of Silas' real face." We'll also see who invited Silas to the highly anticipated and drama-packed prom night in Mystic Falls. Fans have speculated as to what he actually looks like and are given a subtle hint before the episode airs.
"Rumor has it he looks a lot like an actor out of Atlanta named Scott Parks. However, don't get too used to seeing Silas' authentic self. According to sources, the erstwhile warlock will continue to do most of his dirty work in disguise."
Based on the episode title, "Pictures of You," we could merely be offered a glimpse of the real Silas via photograph. Eager fans have waited a long time for this moment, so a tease as such could induce mass pandemonium. You've been warned.
In other Mystic Falls news, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) will return by the end of the season. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) killed Jeremy back in February, but now he's on his way back. In what capacity however, is still unclear. Will he return as the same Jeremy or will Silas overtake his body? It's also possible that his ex-girlfriend Bonnie (Kat Graham) will fulfill her long-time promise to break the divide between reality and the afterlife in order to bring Jeremy back to life.
Only time will tell. One thing's for sure however, Mystic Falls gets eerier by the minute. "The Vampire Diaires" went on a brief hiatus to make way for The CW's spin-off series "The Originals," but returns Thursday, April 18.
