Malaga faces a huge test on Tuesday when it takes on a tough Borussia Dortmund side in the second leg of the 2013 Champions league quarter finals.
The two sides battled to a 0-0 draw that saw Borussia Dortmund control the majority of the chances. However, the Spaniards held their own and managed to keep the score at zero for the entire match.
The draw places a lot of pressure on both sides heading into the second leg as one goal either way could go a long way toward deciding the battle. Malaga can play for a draw as long as it scores, but Dortmund must win in order to pass; any draw aside from a scoreless one would give Malaga an away goal advantage in the aggregate.
Dortmund is likely to be aggressive in front of its home fans, especially after losing the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich over the weekend.
According to The Star the starting lineups should be as follows:
Borussia Dortmund: 1-Roman Weidenfeller; 26-Lukasz Piszczek, 4-Neven Subotic, 15-Mats Hummels, 29-Marcel Schmelzer; 8-Ilkay Guendogan, 6-Sven Bender; 19-Kevin Grosskreutz, 10-Mario Goetze, 11-Marco Reus; 9-Robert Lewandowski
Malaga: 13-Willy Caballero; 2-Jesus Gamez, 4-Diego Lugano, 5-Martin Demichelis, 25-Antunes; 8-Jeremy Toulalan, 6-Ignacio Camacho; 7-Joaquin, 10-Julio Baptista, 22-Isco; 9-Javier Saviola.
Predictions: Malaga pulls off an upset in a 1-1 draw.
